The last day of school is always bitter sweet. These children have grown and learned so much this year. Their personalities have developed and so have their play styles. I couldn't be more proud of these kiddos and all they have accomplished this year. It is sad to see them go on to other classrooms. I still feel like they are mine when they come back in September. But I count my time with them as a true blessing. They have enriched my life in so many ways. They have challenged me to be a better teacher. And for that I am ever grateful. I can't thank you enough for entrusting me with your precious little ones. Your generosity and kind words today meant so much to me and I am going to miss you all. I am already counting down the days until we are together again. I can't wait to mix up some fun in the kitchen or explore science with you in the Life Skills class on Monday's next year! Have a safe and blessed summer!
Our little heroes had tons of fun honing their super powers and skills! We worked on our super strength breath, our ability to leap tall buildings, and strengthening our muscles among many others. The children fully embraced Super Hero Day. What a fun way to close out our year together. The children had the opportunity to rotate rooms today and take a peek at which room might be theirs next year. In each room the super hero experience was new and fresh and it was the general consensus that the day got better and better with each new room. I also wanted to thank you all for the lovely flowers. Each flower different and unique just like the children. Yet they come together to make a pretty spectacular bouquet! |
Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
