We had a fantastic time together this morning. We played, painted, and worked on a science experiment. During art the children free painted with white, red, and purple paints. Their fine motor control of the paint brushes has greatly improved since the beginning of the year. I've been sifting through the pictures from September and the change is impressive. While out on the playground we got a very special treat. The garbage truck came by and we got to watch as the dumpster trash was collected. Let me tell you this was pretty exciting stuff for the preschool crowd! The children never get tired of baking soda and vinegar reactions. We explored this reaction in Life Skills with the older classes on Monday and since I had some left over supplies we got to put them to use in our room today. Comments are closed.

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
