We had a very special visit from Lucy the therapy dog today. She came in and told us all about her training and how she visits sick children and the elderly as well as school age children. She is a Golden Retriever/Poodle mix. She was very gentle and allowed the children to pet her. We are so grateful for the visit.
In art today we made unusual paintings. Who knew you could paint with a medicine syringe and have such pretty final products? We loaded our syringes with paint and squeezed the paint out onto paper. Once we were finished experimenting with the paints we laid a second sheet of paper over the top of our first and squished them together. When we lifted the pages the results were amazing!
