A special thank you for the pumpkin donation. The boys and girls are really excited to share their creations with their families.
We were hard at work today learning all about pumpkins. One of our favorite activities was to hammer golf tees into pumpkins, testing our hand eye coordination skills. We counted, weighed, and even painted our very own. We really enjoyed our art activity this morning. We each chose a pumpkin and had the opportunity to pour several different colors of paint over the top of the pumpkins. This produced some truly beautiful and unique designs. I am hoping the pumpkins will be dry by Friday so that you can take them home. Some have a pretty heavy layer of paint. A special thank you for the pumpkin donation. The boys and girls are really excited to share their creations with their families. We are all looking forward to our first class party on Friday as well as our Fall Costume Parade. Lunch will be provided as part of the party. If you or your child does not wish to wear their costume all day please pack a change of clothes for after the parade. Also, many parents bring treats to pass out to the boys and girls as they parade by. I do have treat bags for everyone to carry.

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
