It was an amazing and busy day and a huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers that decorated, ran activities, donated materials, cooked, cleaned and shared in our parade. You certainly made it a special day for the children!
VIVA FIESTA!!!!
Viva Fiesta! Our preschool Fiesta celebration kicked of with an amazing float parade. The children we encouraged to decorate a shoe box float with a theme that interested them. We saw some pretty amazing floats with themes ranging from "Frozen" and "Superheros" to "My Little Pony" and "Legos". All were outstanding and so much fun to see glide by. Our festivities did not end with the parade. We continued the day with a wide variety of fun filled events. First stop... The Pinatas. Next, we headed over to the cake walk. What a delicious treat! The boys were able to decorate their own cupcake or muffin. One of our favorite activities of the morning was the Cascarones. Next stop... making maracas! We were all getting pretty hungry so we headed to the next room to make our own tortillas from scratch. We rolled our own dough and after they were cooked we enjoyed a fresh, warm snack. We finished up our activities with some face painting. What fun! Our celebration was topped off with a delicious traditional Fiesta meal. I wish I had pictures of it but for one we were so hungry we dove right in and second my battery died and I could not take any more pictures.

You are such a trooper! Fiesta, extended day, and not skipping a beat on blogging!! I appreciate you taking time out of your day to do this after each class. It is so fun to see all the boys, not just mine, enjoying their day!

I really think it is important that you see everything we do. I am also enjoying looking back on the year and seeing all that we have done and how much the boys have grown. It has been such a blessing to be a part of it all. Comments are closed.

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
