The children had a wonderful time counting hearts, mailing shapes, spinning tops and mixing up heart inspired concoctions in the sensory tub. For our art project this morning we stamped heart shapes with cardboard tubes. This quickly turned into a contest of sorts to see who could make the biggest paint bubble with their tubs. You can see in a few of the pictures popping them was equally fun (check out the paint splatter around the table). We rounded out our day with some play dough time. I made a new fresh pink batch for the class and they were thrilled. The children had a great time imagining they were bakers, pancake flippers, treasure hunters and french fry makers. We look forward to the class party on Friday beginning around 11:45. If you would like to send Valentine cards or treats for the class you may do so. Each child will have a Valentine bag which will be sent home at the end of the day. See you then!

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
