I hope you all enjoy the time off next week. Take some time to rest, connect with family, and count your blessings. They are many! God Bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving!
There is certainly much to give thanks for! Today we enjoyed more turkey center time, painting turkeys, and making homemade popcorn to bring to the feast to share with all of our friends. After Motor Skills we returned to our room to find that Tootsie had brought us an air popper which we used to pop some fresh popcorn for the feast. We used all 5 of our senses. We could hear the kernels popping, smell the delicious warm popcorn, see it popping into our bowl, feel its warmth, and of course taste test it to make sure everyone would love it! We worked together to bag the popcorn for easy sharing. Once that was cleaned up we decided to paint a turkey with our fast drying paint sticks. Everyone looked so cute in their turkey shirts and headbands. We had a great time tasting all of the delicious food at the feast. It was so nice to have our parents, grandparents, and special friends join us. A very special thank you to all those who helped prepare food for our feast and worked the clean up crew. You helped make today something very special for the children.

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
