I can't believe the end of the school year is just around the corner! We have had the most amazing year. This week we are celebrating with dress up, dramatic play, and lots of imagination! We left a play dough station out all morning and the children loved coming and going. They made birthday cakes, saved superheroes that were stuck in the mud, and generally enjoyed talking with one another as they played. Everyone enjoyed making some Spider Man web paintings. I like to bring back some of the kids favorite activities during these last weeks. Today we spent time mixing up baking soda and vinegar. Always a huge hit. I was in The Dollar Tree recently and spotted this gem. I remember loving these paint with water pages when I was little. When I found one that was Super Hero themed I just had to pick it up. Actually, I picked up 3 so I have some for the next couple of years. The boys and girls enjoyed painting with water and seeing their paintings come to life. As superheroes we decided to head out and work on our hand strength. We had a great time watering the plants and being good citizens. Friday will be another Superhero celebration. We will spend some time together in the Superhero Game Zone. All of the 3's classes will rotate through during the morning. Plan to dress the part and come ready for fun! Hero and princess costumes are welcomed! See you Friday!

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
