This role play is so important to a preschool child's growth and development. In these situations they learn to communicate with each other. Their language skills develop. The children take risks by pretending to be someone or something else. Opportunities are presented for sharing and taking turns. The creativity and development of the "stories" they tell are setting the foundations for success in their reading and language arts studies in the future. It seems like "fun" but there is some serious learning taking place!
There were several other cookie themed offerings out for the children to explore as well.
