Overheard in the bakery this morning...
"I don't need the mittens, these cookies are cool and my hands are not burning."
"Let's pay for these cookies. Ahhh, they are $3."
"We made this, me especially for you Ms. Kristen. It's a bell cookie."
"We have to cut these cookie slices."
"You need eggs, powder, and chocolate chips to make cookies."
"My cookies have icing and LOTS of sprinkles!"
"Who wants to buy some cookies? They are hot."
"Spin the mixer to make the cookie dough."
"I already know how to make cookies. We make them with Mommy all the time."
Then I covered the tray with the bandana and waved my magic wand as we chanted, Abracadabra Alacazam! While everyone was distracted chanting I reached under the bandana to remove a cookie. When the bandana was lifted the goal was to figure out which piece was missing. The boys and girls really loved it and did extremely well with the game.
