During art this morning we stamped hearts.
There were only 5 Owls in class today so it was a pretty chill morning. We enjoyed centers, Chapel, and other activities. This morning I put up a large sheet of paper with stickers all over it. Below the paper the children found markers. I asked them to use the markers to connect the stickers. This required a steady hand and self control to connect the dots. You could hear the children repeating over and over to themselves. " Dot, dot and STOP!" They did extremely well with this challenge! A little Chapel video will be sent in GroupMe. During art this morning we stamped hearts. We had a science activity planned for Wednesday that we ran out of time for so we did it today. Each child received a ball of baking soda with a little treasure buried inside. Their job was to use pipettes and vinegar to uncover the treasure. Once they found their treasure they were allowed to keep it. We then continued making baking soda and vinegar explosions. We finished up the morning with some playground and of course lunch. Next week we will be ready to Rodeo! Please remember to bring in your cans of pinto beans for our Cowboy Lunch by Wednesday, Feb. 21. Wear your finest western gear and join us for all the fun we have planned. See you next week!

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
