We were happy to have a few of our classmates back today. Hopefully we are a full class next week. The girls enjoyed exploring the centers again and spending time with one another. During art we used rocks tossed in paint to make our placemats for the upcoming Thanksgiving Feast. Each one came out so beautifully. I will put the finishing touches on them this weekend. We also enjoyed a little play dough time. Today we added rocks and colored gems into the mix. The highlight of our was meeting a real ballerina! The Tobin Arts Center has put together such a wonderful enrichment program and today we welcomed Miss Sarah. She showed us her tutus and the special shoes ballerina's use. She played a little piece from The Nutcracker and explained that a ballet is a way to tell a story through your movements. The girls were mesmerized. I will send along a little video in the Group Me. We also celebrated another birthday today. It was a busy week! I hope everyone enjoys the cooler temperatures and gets a little extra snuggle time this weekend. Next week we will be talking about all the things we are thankful for. We will also make preparations for our big Thanksgiving Day Feast set for next Friday at 11 am in the West Auditorium. See you next week!

Why Blog? Here you will find little snippets of our days together. When my children were in preschool and would come home I would always ask, "So, what did you do today?". All they ever said was, "Played." That didn't tell me much. I hope this blog will be a place to share what we have done and help you ask more directed questions of your child. You will see first hand just what we do after you kiss your little one goodbye in the morning. It will also be a great place to visit and see just how much your child has grown and learned throughout the year. Archives
